Why Mississippi Has No Veteran LLC Fee Waiver

You'll pay the standard fee to file Form F0100, the Certificate of Formation, and that's the end of the story on formation costs. There's no affidavit to attach and no office to appeal to — the Secretary of State's own FAQ points out that these amounts are fixed in statute by the Legislature, so even a sympathetic clerk has no discretion here. The one genuinely good thing about Mississippi is that the recurring cost is nothing, and not because of anything to do with your service. The domestic LLC annual report, Form F0108, is free for every filer in the state. You still have to file it — free is not the same as optional — but there's no veteran waiver here for the simple reason that there's no fee to waive.
