Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 27, 2026

1. Overview

Post-Earth Holdings LLC (“MyStateLLC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates mystatellc.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and what rights you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

a. Information you provide directly

  • Email address — when you submit the newsletter or LLC checklist signup form that appears on guide pages. We also collect the page you signed up from and any UTM source/medium parameters present in the URL at the time of signup, which we use for content personalization and analytics.
  • Accelerator application data — when you submit an application through the Accelerator page, we collect the information you provide in the form (which may include your name, contact email, business description, and related details). This data is stored in Airtable.
  • Attorney reviewer application data — when you apply through the For Attorneys page, we collect your full name, bar state, bar number, firm website, and contact email. This data is stored in Airtable.

b. Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically by us or our service providers, including:

  • Browser type, operating system, device type, and screen resolution
  • IP address (processed by analytics providers; see Section 4)
  • Referring URL and pages visited on the Site
  • Date and time of each page request
  • A/B test variant assignments, stored as cookies or in localStorage, to ensure a consistent experience within a session

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Email addresses are used to deliver the requested content (LLC checklist, filing deadlines) and a follow-up email series about LLC formation. You can unsubscribe from any email using the unsubscribe link included in every message.
  • Application data is used solely to evaluate Accelerator and Attorney Reviewer applications and, if accepted, to operate those programs. Rejected applications are retained for up to 12 months and then deleted.
  • Analytics data is used in aggregate to understand how visitors use the Site, which content is most helpful, and how to improve the Site. We do not use analytics data to build individual user profiles or for behavioral advertising.

4. Third-Party Services and Data Processors

We share data with the following service providers in order to operate the Site. Each is bound by its own privacy policy and, where applicable, a data processing agreement with us.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for their own marketing purposes.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar browser storage technologies (including localStorage) for the following purposes:

  • Cookie consent preference — stored in localStorage to remember whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies.
  • Newsletter subscription status — stored in localStorage to hide the signup form after you subscribe.
  • A/B test assignment — stored as a cookie to ensure you see a consistent version of any active experiment during your visit. No personal data is attached to this cookie.
  • Google Analytics cookies (e.g., _ga, _ga_*) — set only if you accept analytics on the cookie banner. Used to distinguish unique visitors and measure site usage in aggregate.

Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights are cookieless and run by default on every page. They do not set cookies or use device storage, and they collect only pseudonymous, aggregated measurements (such as page views, referrer, and country) — they are not used to identify you or build a profile. Because no cookies or personal identifiers are stored on your device, these tools run without a consent banner, and disabling cookies does not affect them. We honor browser-level opt-out signals: if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do Not Track (DNT) signal, these analytics are not loaded. You may also contact us at contact@mystatellc.com to request exclusion. For visitors in the EU/UK, we rely on our legitimate interest in measuring site performance; because no information is stored on or read from your device, no consent is required for these specific tools.

You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or alert you when cookies are being sent. Declining analytics cookies will not affect your ability to use any feature of the Site.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

6. Affiliate Links & FTC Disclosure

Some links on this Site are affiliate links. This means that if you click a link and purchase a product or service, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. We only link to services we believe may be useful to our readers. Current affiliate relationships include but may not be limited to: ZenBusiness, Northwest Registered Agent, and similar LLC formation services. Services are evaluated and ranked independently of affiliate relationships.

This disclosure is made in accordance with the FTC's Endorsement Guides.

7. Your Privacy Rights

EEA / UK Residents — GDPR

If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) including the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your personal data, and the right to object to or restrict processing.

Our legal basis for processing your personal data is:

  • Consent — for analytics cookies and email marketing. You may withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legitimate interests — for basic site security, fraud prevention, and server logging.
  • Performance of a contract — for processing Accelerator or Attorney Reviewer applications you initiate.

To exercise your GDPR rights, email privacy@mystatellc.com. If you believe we have not addressed your concern, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

8. Data Retention

  • Email subscribers: Retained until you unsubscribe. After unsubscribing, your email address is suppressed (not deleted) to honor your opt-out permanently.
  • Accepted Accelerator and Attorney Reviewer applications: Retained for the duration of your participation in the program and for up to 2 years after.
  • Rejected applications: Deleted within 12 months of the rejection decision.
  • Analytics data: Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months per our GA4 configuration. Vercel Analytics data is retained per Vercel's standard retention schedule.
  • Server logs: Retained for up to 90 days for security and debugging purposes.

9. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately at privacy@mystatellc.com.

10. Third-Party Links

The Site contains links to external websites and services that we do not operate. We have no control over the content or privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies independently.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice where feasible. Continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
