What is a registered agent in Nevada?

A registered agent is the person or business that accepts lawsuits and official notices for your LLC. Nevada law requires every LLC to have a registered agent with a street address for service of process, and that address is your LLC's registered office in Nevada; it must be an actual street address or rural route box number in Nevada.
