   Choose Your New Registered Agent

   Select a person or business entity that has a physical Oregon address and is available during normal business hours. The agent must be able to receive legal documents on behalf of your LLC.

   Obtain Written Consent

   Get written consent from your new registered agent before filing. Professional services typically provide this automatically, but individual agents must agree in writing to serve in this capacity.

   Complete Form 6

   File Form 6 (Change of Registered Agent and/or Registered Office) with the Oregon Secretary of State. Include your LLC's name, entity number, new agent information, and signature of an authorized member or manager.

   Pay the Filing Fee

   Submit the $50 filing fee along with your completed Form 6. Payment can be made by check, money order, or credit card if filing online through the Oregon Secretary of State website.

   File with Oregon Secretary of State

   Submit your form and fee online at sos.oregon.gov, by mail to Oregon Secretary of State, Corporation Division, 255 Capitol Street NE, Suite 151, Salem, OR 97310, or in person at their office.

   Update Your Records

   Once approved, update your internal LLC records and notify other parties like banks, vendors, and the IRS of your new registered agent information to ensure proper document delivery.
