    Obtain the Statement of Change of Registered Agent form

    Download Form LLC-2 (Statement of Change of Registered Agent) from the Missouri Secretary of State website at https://www.sos.mo.gov or request it by phone.

    Complete the required information

    Fill out your LLC's name, file number, current registered agent details, and new registered agent's name and Missouri street address. The new agent must have a physical address in Missouri.

    Get signatures from authorized parties

    The form must be signed by an authorized member or manager of the LLC, and the new registered agent must sign to accept the appointment.

    Submit the form with filing fee

    Mail the completed form with a $25 filing fee to the Missouri Secretary of State, Corporations Division, PO Box 778, Jefferson City, MO 65102. Make checks payable to 'Director of Revenue'.

    Confirm the change is processed

    The Secretary of State will process your filing and update your LLC's records. You can verify the change online through the Missouri business entity search.
