Choose Your New Registered Agent
Select a new registered agent who is either a Massachusetts resident with a physical street address in the state, or a business entity authorized to conduct business in Massachusetts.

Obtain Written Consent
Get written consent from your new registered agent confirming they agree to serve in this capacity for your LLC. Keep this documentation for your records.

Complete the Statement of Change Form
File the Statement of Change of Registered Agent and/or Registered Office form with the Massachusetts Secretary of State. This form updates your registered agent information on file.

Submit the $25 filing fee along with your completed form. You can pay by check, money order, or online if filing electronically through the Massachusetts Secretary of State website.
